Travolution and Global Resilience Council launch start-up competition
Travolution and the Global Travel and Tourism Resilience Council have partnered with USAID to launch an exciting start-up competition in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The competition, which will be part of the Resilience and Innovation Summit on June 6-7, 2024, is open to start-ups from Southeastern Europe, Moldova, and Ukraine that are two years old or less at the time of submission. The winner will receive a cash prize of $10,000 from Chemonics International and valuable mentorship from an industry professional.
The event will feature thought leadership from leading global brands, including Radisson Hotel Group, AXA Partners, Travelzoo, ITB, and Sabre. The competition aims to enable travel tech start-ups in the region, embracing AI and other technology innovations to transform the tourism sector into a more experiential and economically competitive industry.
The application process is now open and will close on May 6, 2024.
