Travel Weekly creates free careers guide to support industry recruitment
Jacobs Media brand Travel Weekly has once again teamed up with some of the biggest names in the sector to provide a careers resource to help attract young people to the industry.
Now in its 11th year, Take Off in Travel is a 76-page prospectus-style publication which is sent in print format to colleges and universities and is also fully available on a free-to-access website at takeoffintravel.co.uk
All content can be used by travel companies in their own outreach and recruitment efforts, with the publication offered in downloadable format and with all online content accessible across all devices.
Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly, said: “Take Off in Travel was created more than a decade ago to showcase the range of careers available in the travel industry, and it continues to be an essential resource for those invested in attracting and shaping the next generation of talent.
“We are incredibly proud to play our part in creating this annual showcase, which is made available for free to anyone in the industry to use and distribute.
“We are indebted to Abta, Hays Travel and all our partners for helping us produce this latest edition.”
In addition to information about the industry and 30 case studies of people starting out in their careers, this year’s Take Off in Travel also features handy advice to help equip readers with the skills they need to get their foot in the door, while those looking for jobs straight away can browse Showcase features created by leading travel brands.
