Linda Lucas oversees a team which produces more than 160 events a year around the world and welcomes more than 10,000 delegates and guests from the travel and hospitality sectors.
She has vast experience of producing events ranging from intimate breakfasts to conferences and award ceremonies hosting more than 1,300 guests.
She started her career in advertising sales and marketing with London’s Capital Radio and, after a spell working in media for gigging musicians, she moved into the events business, delivering successful events across the globe in a range of sectors.
Having moved to Reed Business Information, she was tasked with developing and growing a viable events portfolio, taking the division from small roots to more than 250 events worldwide by 2009.
She has worked for Jacobs Media Group since the acquisition of Travel Weekly from RBI in 2009 and has a reputation for delivering creative and compelling experiences for guests, sponsors and partners alike.
